Mateu is an expert in tax advice with a wealth of experience. For more than ten years, he has been advising large companies, SMEs and individuals on tax matters, providing first class economic and tax advice. He has actively participated in corporate operations, advising on aspects such as company set-up, capital increases and reductions, and business restructuring, from the tax and commercial trading point of view. He provides fundamental support to individuals who need property management services or inheritance planning, and offers tax advice in relation to inheritance or taxable donations as well as transfer tax matters.
He has a solid academic background that includes a degree in Economic and Business Sciences from UNED and a Master’s Degree in Administrative Management from the Abad Oliva University (UAO) in Barcelona, and he is a PhD candidate in the Law and Economics program of the Abad Oliba-CEU University.
He is a professor of Economic Theory and Public Finance at UNED, where he has been lecturing for more than 16 years at the Associated Center of Cervera (Lleida) to bachelors students in the disciplines of Business Administration, Economics, Law, and Political Science and Administration.

PUBLICATIONS
He has published at the “Cataleg Col.lectiu de les Universitats de Catalunya” the Master’s Project in Administrative Management titled: “Els Costas i els Beneficis de la Eco Economia”.

In February 2015, he published, in co-authorship with other tax advisors,”La Reforma Fiscal. La nueva normativa anotada y comentada por profesionales de la fiscalidad”. Barcelona: JB Bosch Editor, 2015.

He has collaborated on the drafting of the dossier “¿Cómo quedan las Sociedades Civiles en 2016?”, published by Indicator Asesores y Editores, SAU. November 2015

Currently he is collaborator on the publication of articles on tax issues for a well-known specialist magazine.

Law Degree from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), Barcelona 1993, and UNED, 1993, and Master’s degree in International Economic and Business Law (IEBL LL.M., 1995, Imperial University of Kyushu, Japan).

Joaquín works largely in the area of insurance law, handling legal matters before the civil, labour and criminal courts, having amassed extensive experience in all of these jurisdictions. His speciality is the defence of his clients in matters of criminal and civil liability in the construction and industrial sectors, and, specifically, in relation to the civil and criminal responsibility of an employer in the case of workplace accidents.

He also handles commercial judicial proceedings in matters such as the resolution of distribution and agency contracts, the responsibility of administrators, issues related to industrial property, and unfair competition, some of which are of special relevance and complexity.

In civil real estate matters, he brings a wealth of experience in real estate litigation, including land issues and condominium law, advising various property administrations in these areas.

Joaquín provides services to companies from different sectors such as: insurance, construction and real estate, tourism, food and beverage, distribution, transportation, new technologies and non-profit sectors. He has managed over three thousand judicial matters.

Christian focuses primarily in private law, more specifically in property law for individuals, and banking law from the perspective of the bank users, as well as pursuing their arising judicial matters before the civil court.

Furthermore, as an external attorney for the government he has directed various commercial judicial procedures in the field of energy (including wind, and cogeneration, amongst others).

In relation to property, he brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate litigation, rental procedures and condominium law, as well as in inheritance matters.

Christian currently provides his services predominantly to individuals and family estates.
